THE INDUSTRY MIXER FLYER!!!

Today the craziness begins! Started with a few alterations on this flyer but its done! Scheduled dress rehearsals which had to be moved at the last minute but it worked out! Starting on the VIP calls today. Have my promo scheduled laid out for today have alot of spots to hit up. Have to pick up the decor today. So the glamour stress begins...

Hello you all!!!! I hope you had a great Christmas and that you have fantastic plans for New Years!!!! We are uber excited for our first event of the year, THE INDUSTRY MIXER this Sunday at Oasis (9551 Baymeadows Rd. Jacksonville, FL). Our guest co-host is Javan Reed of Fashion Forward Inc.! The runway segement starts promptly at 8pm!!!

I had a much needed meeting today. Our finale' is being peiced together beautifully! We are looking for this to be a summer event! Stay tuned for the details.

A Productive Day

I hope you all are doing great. Thanks for tuning in! So today was a great day. I woke up early with the energy to implement these great ideas. The first official event of 2011 for Uzuri Productions is The Industry Mixer. By the industry I mean the fashion industry (what other industry is there??!!). This event will be every first sunday at Oasis Grill and Chill here in Jacksonville, FL. A place where the professionals connect. We produce a mini runway show featuring an upcoming professional. Hosted by Lakeisha, music by DJ Bam & karaoke! Great food & drink specials! So far for January we have booked the talented stylist, Johnakeisha! We are super excited about this event and we invite you to come out!

As for Rock the Runway finale' aka Ville Couture I have a great lead on a venue! yay us!!!! I will keep you posted on the new findings!!!

The Venue Quest

This week I am in the hunt for the perfect venue for Rock the Runway finale'. We are expecting at least 500 people to be in attendance. The battle....finding a nice venue with alot of parking...and the search begins...

Rock the Runway

This is what we do!!!!! I have a deep appreciation for the art of fashion and modeling. I used to model, but soon I realized I had a love for the coordination of it all. I liked to motivate girls to seriously pursue modeling. My first event under Uzuri productions was Rock the Runway. It was a modeling competition and runway show by a featured designer. We also had seminars which included professionals speaking about updated information in the industry. We also had awesome performances. I loved producing these 7 shows. I am looking forward to planning the finale coming very soon.
